JAMMU, Feb 17: The protest of the 45 aggrieved left out Kashmiri migrant youth who had applied under PM package over a decade back entered into 123rd day today.
The protestors including male and female candidates raising slogans in support of their demands demanded immediate issuance of their appointment orders. With pla- cards and banners in their hands they accused the authorities of playing with their future as majority of them after leaving the private sector jobs in 2010 returned to J&K to serve in their motherland Kashmir. But till date their appointment orders were not issued on flimsy grounds by the concerned authorities. They said that some of these candidates are at the verge of over age and their future will turn completely bleak in case the appointment orders were not issued in their favour immediately.
The protesting candidates renewed their appeal to Lt Governor, Manoj Sinha and sought his immediate intervention in the matter. These candidates said that being idle for years together they have become a burden on their old age parents now. They said despite falling in the merit list the authorities failed to issue their appointment orders till date which is a grave injustice with them.
Justifying their demand they said that their plight has become miserable as they are unable even to bear the medical expenses of their old aged parents.
