Age Relaxation for J&K IAS candidates

Sir,
Union Minister of State (Independent charge) Dr Jitendra Singh is requested on behalf of students to continue age relaxation for J&K candidates appearing in Civil Services Examination for a further period of five years. Dr Singh himself belongs to District Doda of J&K State and is familiar with conditions prevailing in the State due to militancy and mass migration from hilly areas. Both Jammu and Kashmir provinces have unfavourable circumstances and uncertainty in Education Sector. The students are not mentally and physically free to avail the benefits of education. Due to poverty and internal disturbances in Jammu province those preparing for civil services are suffering badly. Moreover, the candidates of Jammu division cannot afford costly education-cum-coaching at Delhi due to poverty and earlier dislocation on account of earlier days of militancy in Jammu Hills. Dr Singh is aware of all these things and has initiated various development and job oriented schemes for the youth of J&K State and hope this issue is also resolved at the earliest.
