JAMMU, June 4: The 13th Admissions Fair, which began today in Jammu at Hotel Jhelum Resorts, invited big rush of students for searching of their dream colleges and universities.
Large numbers of class 12 pass out students, who have appeared for JKCET exams, were seen at the fair along with their parents exploring their best career choice.
The major offering of the fair are that youngsters are able to access accurate information by interacting directly with the authorities of over 20 institutions offering over 100 career courses, from Delhi NCR, Bangalore, Dehradun, Jaipur, etc. Some of the participating institutions are AMITY University, Manav Rachna University, Lovely Professional University, Raffles University, IMS Unison University, Dayanada Sagar University, etc.
“I am looking for my admission in Mass Communication & Journalism. The fair was actually of great help to me as it gave me access to so many good colleges of India all under one roof offering wide choice of programs” says a class 12 pass out student from Jammu.
“I have come for my daughter who wants to pursue engineering. At the fair, I have got the opportunity to meet the college authorities, clear all doubts about the admission procedure. In fact, this fair was a wonderful experience for me, as it has helped me to compare and choose the best option for my child,” said a city based Software Engineer
Career Counseling Session on ‘Career Avenue after Class 12’ presented by Prakshit Dhanda – India’s leading Career Counselor, was the major attraction of the fair. This session provided great insight to students and parents about the scope and career opportunities of various career options.
Vivek Shukla, Director- Afairs Exhibitions & Media, the organizer of the fair stated, “The Fair is being organized to serve as ‘time & cost effective’ platforms for parents & students to access multiple institutions ‘under one roof’ and it helps students to make an informed decision about their career”.
The two day ’13th Admissions Fair’ – India’s largest education fair has come to Jammu for the sixth consecutive year to help students in search of quality education. The fair will be on till June 5 from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm.
