Administration urged to relax curfew restrictions

JAMMU, Feb 18: Duggar Pradesh Party has accused the District administration of rendering people of Jammu under continuous seize by imposing curfew on fourth consecutive day and described it as deliberate torture to the general masses.
In a statement, DPP president Uday Chand said that continuous curfew was creating severe problems to the people who are having marriages of their children, studies of the students especially the postponement of various examinations. “Due to continuous curfew, most of the people have short of food grains, vegetables, milk and other essentials. The worst sufferers are the patients who could not reach to the hospitals and other medical centers,” he said and appealed the administration to immediately lift the curfew restrictions or at least relax the same so that people may store essential food items .
