Adm made all arrangements to tackle COVID-19 spread: DDC Doda

DODA, Apr 8: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Dr Sagar D Doifode said that District Administration Doda has made all the arrangements to tackle Novel Coronavrius (COVID-19) spread across the district.
Addressing a press conference, DDC informed that around 2800 bedded capacity of Quarantine facility has been made available in Doda. At present aleast 149 persons are in the quarantine centers at different places and more than 100 have been discharged after the completion of quarantine period.
“We have already distributed around 60 per cent ration among the people and mid day meal across the district till date and within week 100 per cent ration will be distributed among the residents at their door steps”, DDC asserted.
“Don’t pay heed on rumours for extension of lockdown or any relaxation. People will be informed by the Government accordingly at the time”, DDC said and appealed to the people to stay at home.
He also warns of strict action against the violators of the lockdown.
