JAMMU, Dec 28: The Finance Department of the State Government has extended up to March 31, 2015 the deadline for submission of left-out cases of adhoc/contractual/consolidated salaries employees for regularization in the Government services. The deadline had expired on October 27, 2014.
An official order issued today by the Principal Secretary to Government, Finance Department, asked all Administrative Departments to ensure submission/enlisting of the left-out cases in the Finance Department within the stipulated time positively.
“The information and the cases furnished by the Departments after prescribed date will not be entertained,” the Government order said.
Earlier, the Government had issued a circular on October 16, 2014 giving time of 10 days to all the Departments to resubmit the information/documents in respect of all such adhoc/contractual/consolidated employees, whose cases were either under examination/scrutiny or considered by the Empowered Committee as eligible for regularization under Jammu and Kashmir Civil Services (Special Provisions Amendment) Act 2010 but got damaged in devastating floods of September in the State, which had also caused extensive damage in the Civil Secretariat.
However, the Departments couldn’t meet the deadline of October 27, 2014 in view of floods followed by the Assembly elections. The Finance Department has now revised the deadline to March 31, 2015 to ensure that no genuine case of regularization if left-out.
