JAMMU, June 9: Upendra Prasad Singh, father of Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Jammu Zone Mukesh Singh passed away here today.
Upendra Singh was under treatment at Narayana Speciality Hospital Kakriyal Katra where he breathed his last today morning.
He was cremated at Jogi Gate cremation ground in the evening.
Meanwhile, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has condoled the demise of ADGP’s father.
In a tweet, LG said, “Deeply grieved to learn about the passing away of Shri Upendra Prasad Singh ji father of Mukesh Singh, ADGP Jammu Zone. My heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family”.
However, Director General of Police (DGP) Dilbag Singh has also condoled the sad demise of Upendra Prasad Singh, father of ADGP, Jammu Zone Mukesh Singh.
On behalf of the J&K Police Pariwar, DGP J&K has conveyed heartfelt condolences to Mukesh Singh and all the bereaved family members and prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul.
