JAMMU, June 24: Agriculture Displaced Employees Welfare Association (ADEWA) observed its foundation day here, today.
In this connection a function was organized by ADEWA at Agriculture Complex, Talab Tillo here.
Addressing the function president ADEWA, Dr Manoj Nazir said that National Gladiolus Trust (NGT) has created three awards for the late agri technocrats to remember their services. These awards included O N Koul Memorial Award, B K Tuthoo Memorial Award and S K Handoo Memorial Award.
He also recalled their services in establishment of ADEWA in Jammu. Dr Sanjay Wali, Ashok Raina and Avtar Krishan Bhat also spoke on the occasion. The meeting observed two minutes silence in memory of departed souls of the Agriculture.
