JAMMU, July 9: Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Jammu, Harvinder Singh today paid a visit to Government Hospital Sarwal to preside over a crucial meeting of the Rogi Kalyan Samiti (RKS).
The meeting was attended by member secretary of the Samiti Dr Vijay Raina (Medical Superintendent, Government Hospital Sarwal), Deputy Director Information, ADMO ISM, Executive Engineer PWD Jammu, Executive Engineer PDD Jammu and Executive Engineer PHE Jammu, Deputy MS of the Hospital Dr Vishal Raina, Senior Gynaecologist Dr Shafika Bano, Physician Dr Usha and Dr Pankaj Koul (all members of the Samiti).
During the meeting, the ADC addressed the attendees and emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts in achieving the overarching objective of providing accessible and high-quality healthcare services to the people of Jammu. He lauded members of the Rogi Kalyan Samiti for their dedication and valuable contributions toward the betterment of the healthcare system.
Discussions centered around a wide range of topics, including infrastructure development, availability of medical equipment, staffing requirements, healthcare schemes, and the implementation of advanced healthcare technologies. The attendees actively participated in these deliberations, sharing their expertise, insights and suggestions for the improvement of healthcare facilities.
The ADC urged MS Vijay Raina and his team to continue their relentless efforts in delivering compassionate care to the patients. He assured them of the administration’s unwavering support in addressing any challenges faced by the healthcare sector and pledged to allocate necessary resources to bolster the healthcare infrastructure.
