RAMBAN, May 20: Additional Deputy Commissioner, Ramban, Harbans Lal, today carried out an extensive tour of Rajgarh tehsil to take a first-hand appraisal of the ongoing Corona curfew imposed in wake of rising Covid cases.
He also inspected PHC Rajgarh and reviewed the vaccination of age-appropriate people of over 45 years, particularly, first timers.
The ADC was accompanied by DySP Headquarters, Rajinder Singh and Tehsildar Rajgarh, Omi Raj Sombria, besides other officers.
The ADC went around the market to see that the Corona curfew restrictions are implemented in letter and spirit. He asked Tehsildar to ensure that no violations of COVID SOPs and curfew restrictions take place as it is very important to break the chain of transmission of rising cases in the district.
While holding discussion with PRIs, the Additional DC highlighted the recent announcement made by the Government to set up 5-bedded Covid Care Centres at Panchayat level. He said the Deputy Commissioner, Ramban, has held a meeting today and modalities shall be finalized soon.
The ADC also passed directions to the various chemical shops not to sell any medicines without proper prescription from registered medical practitioners, adding that necessary orders in this regard stand already issued by the DDMA.
