ADBI-SASTRA Law School organizing workshop on Conflict Engagement & Resolution

JAMMU, Aug 5: Asian Development Bank Institute (ADBI) Tokyo and the SASTRA Law School is organising two days virtual workshop on Conflict Engagement and Resolution.
Delivering the inaugural address today, the Dean of ADBI Tetsushi Sonobe highlighted the strong Indo-Japan relationship and the need to resolve conflicts amongst other stakeholders like government agencies, corporates, civil society, etc.
The workshop sessions cover a wide range of topics and shall be handled by experts in the field of Mediation and ADR like Justice K Kannan, Uma Ramanathan, Chitra Narayan, Shreyas Jaisimha and Prof S Sangeetha.
A special keynote address by Dr Florian Grisel from the University of Oxford is also part of the workshop which is being attended by participants from different countries including China, Japan, Philippines, Indonesia, Pakistan, Bangladesh and India.
The second day of the workshop is August 9 with similarly engaging and interactive sessions.
The workshop is organised by the School of Law at SASTRA under the aegis of the Tata-Palkhivala Chair on AI and ADR.
