JAMMU, Aug 19: To celebrate 45th Foundation day, ‘Adbi Kunj’ Jammu organized a special literary function.
This celebration was attended by large number of literary luminaries and other prominent citizen from different walks of the life.
The function was presided over by the prominent personality Padma Shri Dr Ved Kumari Ghai Former Head of the Sanskrit Department of Jammu University, while Former Minister RS Chib was the special guest and Padma Shri Jatinder Udhampuri and Suhail Kazmi were the guests of honour.
On this occasion, two Historical Religious Books ‘Shrimad Bhagwat Geeta’ and ‘Brahm Sootra’ (Vedant Darshan) were released by the guests of this function.
Both the Books are translated in easy Hindi poetry by the Retired Chief Engineer Ramesh Gupta of Rehari Colony Jammu.
In the celebration, ten prominent personalities namely Padma Shri Dr Ved Kumari Ghai, Padma Shri Jetinder Udhampuri, Brigadier Vijay Sager Dhiman, Ramesh Gupta, Perneesh Mahajan, Tarun Uppal, Major Tayub Bharti, Ghulam Hasan Shah, Chaman Sagoch and Preeti Seher Mahajan were honoured by the Former Minister on behalf of Adbi Kunj.
Chairman Adbi Kunj Om Aarsh Dalmotra conducted the function.
Earlier, President Adbi Kunj presented the welcome address.
Retd Session Judge Harbans lal, Prof KL Bhatia, Ramesh Sabharwal, Inderjit Kesar, Balwant Kataria, Principal RD Verma, Sat Paul Verma, Principal Chaman Lal Malakey, Principal, KR Sathi Salgotra, Prof Santosh Shah Nadaan, Ramesh Anand ‘Sagar’, Zia Mughal, Romesh Bhagat ‘Raaz’, Neelam Verma, Betab Jaipuri, Rahul Armaan, Ashok Mantak, Mohan Ulfat, Dr Krishan Dev Gupta, and Dr Bjmal Kumar Gupta also participated in the function.
In the end, the vote of thanks was presented by the Chairman Om Aarsh Dalmotra.
