LONDON, Nov 25: British soap star Oliver Mellor is engaged to marry model Rhian Sugden.
The 33-year-old former ‘Coronation Street’ actor proposed to Sugden in front of 1,000 theatre-goers at Manchester Opera House in England following the curtain call of his play Black Coffee, reported Daily Mirror.
Sugden was watching the actor star in the Agatha Christie murder mystery and was surprised when Mellor, 33, jumped down into the audience and got down on one knee.
“I’m just so glad she did (say yes). But I’ll be rushing back to the jewellers – the ring’s far too big,” Mellor said. (PTI)
