JAMMU, July 28: Residents of Ward Number 24 here alleged that their area has been engulfed in darkness for the past month due to non-functional street lights.
Aastik Kohli, a local activist, claims, he has been working tirelessly to find a solution, but unfortunately, his efforts have been met with indifference from the concerned authorities.
He said his team have made several complaints to the Executive Engineer of JMC Electric Wing and the Lineman, Sudhir Sharma, regarding the malfunctioning street lights.
