JAMMU, June 4: GRP Jammu displayed act of honesty by handing over the lost bag to its owner.
According to SP Railways, Suram Singh, a bag was left over by some Shri Mata Vaishno Devi yatries, which was later deposited to police post GRP West.
He added that the actual owner was traced and the bag was handed over to him. The owner of the bag was identified as Deepak Kumar Singh, son of Arjun Parshad Singh of West Bengal.
SP informed that the bag contained some valuables and cash amounting to Rs 3,950 which was handed over to the actual owner by SI Jagjeet Singh, Incharge police post East under proper receipt.
