KISHTWAR, Dec 15: Three college girls displayed a rare act of honesty by handing over Rs 30,000 to its owner.
As per police sources, Samiksha Sharma, Iqra Tabassum and Nadia Parvez, all students of Government Degree College (GDC) found Rs 30,000 on the road side near the college.
Instead of taking money home, the girls waited at the spot for couple of hours, but no one came back to claim the cash.
Later, the girls found the owner of the cash, who happens to be Commander of SSB namely Basudev Malik, who lost the money when he visited GDC Kishtwar.
While speaking, Malik said that humanity is still alive in our young generation. As a token of love, Commander SSB rewarded the girls with Rs 1000 each.
