Srinagar, Jan 15: The Government today impressed upon the need for taking strict action against unscrupulous elements regarding fake orders circulated.
A order issued by the Government read: “Some cases of fake orders being circulated in media has been noticed recently which calls for immediate strict action against unscrupulous elements. Similarly, some instances of fake recruitment orders have also been noticed.”
The Government has ordered all the Heads of the Departments to conduct verification in such matters and that all such matters can be referred to the Crime Branch.
“It is hereby enjoined upon all HoDs of the Finance Department to ensure due verification and vigilance in the matter and strict action for any lapses that may have occurred in past. In all such cases the matter may be referred to the Crime Branch without fail besides informing the Administrative Department of the action taken,” it added.
