JAMMU, June 24: In a swift and coordinated operation, a police team from Police Station R S Pura arrested a man wanted in a cheating case from Ludhiana, Punjab.
The accused, identified as Jogesh, son of Koshari Lal, resident of Azizpura, Pathankot (Punjab), was apprehended following directions from senior police officials. A case under FIR Number 122/2025 U/S 318(4) BNS had been registered against him for his alleged involvement in a cheating incident.
A special team comprising ASI Arun Sharma, Senior Grade Constable Rakesh Kumar, Senior Grade Constable Rashpal Kumar and SPO Parveen Kumar-formed under the supervision of SHO R S Pura-executed the arrest with the aid of human intelligence and technical support.
The accused is currently in police custody, and further investigation into the matter is underway.
