SRINAGAR, June 14: A deputation of accounts employees met the Finance Minister, Dr Haseeb Drabu in presence of DG Accounts and Treasuries Altaf Mirza and submitted a memorandum.
The members of J&K Accounts Employees Association led by Niaz Ahmed Qadery, president Secretariat unit, Kulwant Singh, president Jammu province and Shakoor Hussain, president Kashmir unit met the Finance Minister in his office Chamber the other day and discussed their demands. They demanded reorganization, declaration of professional service, raising welfare fund, clear SRO-43 cases, raise infrastructure of Jammu treasuries, declaration of PSC results, conduct fresh recruitment, hold departmental exams and implementation of SRO-272 etc.
The Finance Minister and DG listened to their issues patiently and assured to resolve the same on priority.
