JAMMU, Sept 2: An accident victim, who was undergoing treatment here at Government Medical College and Hospital, succumbed to his injuries during the intervening night of September 1 and 2.
According to a police spokesperson, a 26-year-old youth identified as Parvesh Kumar son of Girdhari Lal, a resident of Rangpur Sidhrey (RS Pura), was yesterday shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu, following a road accident at Kullian in Miraan Sahib area of city outskirts.
He said the injured man today succumbed to his injuries at about 12:05 am. “After conducting postmortem, the body of the deceased was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites”, he added.
The concerned police has already taken cognizance of the matter.
