JAMMU, Feb 28: A victim of road accident succumbed to his injuries here at Government Medical College and Hospital, late last night.
According to a police spokesperson, the man identified as Kuti Ram (75) son of Kiso Ram, a resident of village Nikki (Majalta) was shifted here at GMCH yesterday after he received serious injuries in a road mishap at village Nikki.
However, the man did not respond to the given treatment and succumbed to his injuries late last night. After completing all medico-legal formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites.
The concerned police has taken cognizance of the matter.
