JAMMU, Nov 19: A female accident victim today succumbed to her injuries here at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH).
According to a police spokesperson, the woman identified as Soma Devi (55) wife of Rattan Chand, a resident of Pathankot (Punjab), had received serious injuries on November 5, when a mini-bus in which she was travelling turned turtle near Bagyal Morh.
On the same day the lady was shifted to GMCH for treatment. However, she expired last night at about 11.50. After conducting autopsy and completing other legal formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to her legal heirs for last rites.
The concerned police has already taken cognizance of the matter.
