ABVP to continue struggle for students’ issues: Jandial

JAMMU, Dec 15: ABVP State secretary, Varsha Jandial today asserted that ABVP was, is, and will be in the field for student issues at every stage.
Talking to reporters along with National Executive Council Member, Sai Ram and State Office Secretary, Avinash Sethi here at ABVP State Office, she also briefed about the recent victory of ABVP’s 10 day long moment in Kishtwar.
While detailing Varsha Jandial further asked that the way Jammu University administration issued a blunder notice on November 28 regarding the fee hike of different courses of Kishtwar campus especially in M.Sc Geology from Rs 15000 to 58000 just immediate before the exams was really worrisome.
She said it exposed the university authorities nature of harassing the students mentally during the exam time. She further stated that Jammu University needs to justify its stand whether they want to promote education for all or they want to become fund generating agency.
She stated that it is the result of ABVP’s 10 days long moment starting from submitting of the memorandum to Director Kishtwar Campus, DC and CM of the State further holding of chain hunger strike by the ABVP activists of Kishtwar Unit, the Jammu University administration rolled back and stopped fee hike.
Likewise ABVP Jammu Kashmir will always fight for the students’ rights, she added.
