JAMMU, Jan 17: Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) delegation, led by unit President Shubham Raina, today submitted a memorandum to Dean Student Welfare (DSW), Central University Jammu regarding various issues of student community.
ABVP demanded opening of Library in Madan Mohan Malviya Building for students of Education and Engineering Department, opening of more canteens and cafes on university campus, e-Rickshaw services in the University, strengthening of mobile phone network near the Madan Mohan Malviya (MMM) Building and in Shyama Prasad Mookerjee Hostel, extension of bus services to MMM Building and ISRO Department and opening of stationery shop on the campus.
Dean Student Welfare gave a patient hearing to the delegation and assured that these demands would be solved as these are basic and genuine demands of student.
Shubham Raina announced that if all the demands are not considered within four day, ABVP would launch agitation.
