ABVP continues hunger strike for collage admission to all

JAMMU, Sept 3: Ongoing chain hunger strike by the ABVP activists for admission to all class 12th pass-outs in the city colleges, entered into the fourth consecutive day on Monday.
These ABVP activists and admission seekers are observing chain hunger strike outside the office of Vice-Chancellor, Cluster University Jammu. They are demanding admission to all the applicants, who passed their class 12th exams.
Talking to media persons, ABVP activist Akshay Sharma justified the demand for admission to all the applicants who want to pursue higher education. We will not allow the authorities to spoil future of these students who can be accommodated by starting evening classes in the colleges,” he stressed.
The ABVP leader also announced that the five-day token strike will be converted into indefinite hunger strike from tomorrow if the Cluster University does not accord admission to all the applicants.
