ABVP celebrates 68th foundation day

JAMMU, July 9: ABVP today celebrated its 68th foundation day as National Students Day here at Bal Niketan Ambphalla while a function was also organized at Doda.
In Jammu function, Ashok Gupta, chairman of ASL Tutorial was the chief guest on the occasion and Dr Virender Koundal, Senior Assistant Professor of Economics of Jammu University and ABVP Jammu Vibhag Pramukh was Parishad speaker.
The chief guest in his speech highlighted the role of ABVP in infuse the sense of patriotism among the students in all colleges and universities across the country.
Later, the chief guest along with Dr Virender Koundal distributed certificates to participants of recently concluded personality development camps of ABVP and awarded medals to the winners of quiz competition.
At last, new unit of ABVP Jammu Mahanagar was announced which comprises of Govind Sharma (president), Piyush Khajuria (secretary), Bhaskar Jamwal, Arti, Dr Lobzan Stanzen, Akash Sharma (SFD incharge), Vidash Dalmotra (joint secretary), Jagdeep Chahal, Rimshah Ali Khan, Sunny Parihar, Piyush Raina (media incharge), Animesh Tiwari (joint SFD incharge), Parijat Sharma (medivison incharge), Sunaksh Gupta (10+2 working incharge), Diksha (girls incharge) and Sonia Nayar (joint girls incharge).
Meanwhile, ABVP Doda also organized a function at Doda to celebrate the foundation day. ABVP State vice president, Pardeep Singh Katoch and State executive member, Suraj Sharma briefed in detail the achievements of ABVP at national to district level since 1949.
Later, Pardeep Singh Katoch announced Doda city unit of ABVP, which comprises of Rakesh Gupta (president), Manoj Sharma (secretary), Ajay Singh Thakur, Manish Kalyan and Ravi Kotwal (vice presidents), Pritam Thakur, Arun Jaral and Rahul Thakur (joint secretaries), Jagbir Singh (office secretary), Imran Shah (media incharge), Rajeshwar Singh (district convener), Sahil Chaudhary (SFD incharge of city unit) and Sanju Sharma (city executive member).
