KATHUA, Nov 15: ABVP activists held a protest demonstration against the lathicharge on its activists of Jammu.
The ABVP activists led by Mayank Bagotra, Bibag Parcharak assembled on the College road and raised protest against the JKP and UT Government. They said that the youth are protesting for their rights and administration is responsible for lathicharge and cruel attitude towards them .
They said that the students were demanding the declaration of Hindi as official language instead of Urdu language and retirement of the over age professors and appoint of new youth who are highly qualified and are still unemployed. They demanded more opportunities of job for youth to decrease the number of unemployment.
They widely condemned the attitude of JKP for lathicharging the innocent youth and wanted clarification into the matter. They said that the Government cannot stop the voice of youth who will continue their fight for rights in a democratic way.
