JAMMU, Jan 25: City Police arrested an absconding narcotics smuggler, who was evading his arrest since long.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from City Police Station led by SHO Inspector Joginder Singh Chib conducted raid and apprehended an absconder, who was at large since 2020.
The accused has been identified as Vishal Massi, son of Younis Massi, a resident of Narwal Pain Satwari District Jammu.
He was wanted in a case registered under FIR Number 72/2012 under Section 8/21/22 NDPS Act of City Police Station. Court has also issued arrest warrant under Section 512 CrPC against him.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
