Absconders nabbed after 29 yrs

DODA, May 7: Gandoh police arrested two absconders, who were evading their arrest for the past 29 years.
As per police sources, on specific inputs, a team from Gandoh police station conducted raid in Chakka area of tehsil Bhaderwah and nabbed two absconders, who were at large since 1987.
The accused have been identified as Ghulam Qadir, son of Ghulam Mohammad Dhobi of Kishtwar and Ghulam Qadir, son of Munawar Din of Zang Nallah,  Gandoh.
They were involved in a case registered under FIR Number 9/1987 under Section 379 and 149 RPC with police station Gandoh. Court of JMIC Gandoh had issued warrant under Section 512 CrPC against both the absconders on April 30, 2016.
Both the absconders were produced in the court of JMIC Gandoh, from where they have been bailed out.
Police team led by SHO Gandoh Inspector Tariq Hussain made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Gandoh BK Ganjoo and SSP Doda ZN Manhas.
