Absconders arrested after 9 yrs

JAMMU, May 14: Narwal and Nagrota Police arrested two absconders, who were evading their arrest from the past 9 years.
As per police sources, on specific information a team from Police Post Narwal led by SI Achal Rana under the supervision of SHO Bahut Fort Inspector Nayat Ali and SDPO East Syed Zaheer Abbas Jafari conducted raid and apprehended an absconder, who was at large from the past 9 years.
The accused was identified as Sulieman Ahmed Sheikh, son of Ghulam Hussain Sheikh of Parimpora, Srinagar. He was wanted in a case registered under FIR Number 147/2013 under Sections 457 and 380 RPC with Police Station Bahu Fort.
Meanwhile, a team from Police Station Nagrota led by SHO Inspector Vishav Pratap Singh under the supervision of SDPO Nagrota Pardeep Kumar also arrested an absconder, who was identified as Mohd Nazeem, son of Kala Khan of Kans Kassan District Reasi.
He was wanted in a case registered under FIR Number 76/2013 under Section 188 RPC at Police Station Nagrota. Arrest warrant under Section 512 CrPC also stands issued against him by the Court.
Further investigation into the cases is going on.
