JAMMU, Dec 12: Bishnah police nabbed an absconder, who was evading his arrest since long.
As per police sources, based on reliable information, a team from Bishnah police station conducted raid and arrested an absconder, who was at large since long.
The accused has been identified as Parveen Kumar alias Pinna, son of Devraj, a resident of Chorli Bishnah.
He was wanted in cases registered under FIR Number 72/2009 under Section 342, 323, 324 and 325 RPC and FIR Number 120/13 under Section 341, 323, 324, 34 RPC and 4/25 Arms Act registered with police station Bishnah, FIR Number 149/13 under Section 4/25 Arms Act registered with police station Nowabad and FIR Number 85/15 under Section 307 RPC and 3/25 Arms Act registered with police station Vijaypur.
Further investigation into the cases registered against the accused is going on.
Police team led by SHO Bishnah Inspector Paramjit Singh made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Surinder Choudhary and SP Headquarters Jammu RC Kotwal.
