RAMBAN, Feb 28: Police in this District claimed today they have arrested an absconder who was evading his arrest in a case for the past two years.
Mohammad Isaq of Nabal Balihot, Tehsil and District Ramban, was wanted in case FIR number 03/2022 under sections 457/380 of the IPC registered at Police Station Ramban, a police spokesperson said.
He said an arrest warrant against the accused was also issued by the concerned court.
Acting on specific information about the accused, he said, a team of Ramban Police Station on the directions of SSP Ramban, Anuj Kumar, arrested the former today, thus executing the arrest warrant.
The accused would be presented before the competent court at Ramban, added the police spokesperson.
