JAMMU, Jan 21: Bakshi Nagar police arrested an absconder, who was evading his arrest for the past 12 years.
A police spokesman said that, on specific inputs, police party from Bakshi Nagar police station led by SHO Dileep Singh arrested an absconder, who was evading his arrest for the past 12 years.
The accused has been identified as Kuldeep Raj alias Gullu, son of Bua Ditta of Rajpura Mangotian.
The absconder was involved in a case registered with police station Bakshi Nagar under FIR number 74/2002 under Section 341, 323 and 323 RPC.
Police produced him in the Court of Law.
