RAMBAN, Feb 25: Ukhral police arrested an absconder, who was evading his arrest in different cases of attempt to murder, theft, burglary and other heinous cases.
A police spokesman said that, police team from Ukhral police post conducted a raid and arrested an absconder, who was evading his arrest for the past several years.
The accused has been identified as Mohammad Arif, son of late Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din, a resident of Hadyal, district Ramban.
The accused was evading his arrest in different cases of attempt to murder, theft, burglary and other heinous cases.
He was declared as absconder in a case registered under FIR number 61/2013 under Section 307, 382, 353, 332, 147, 148, 201, 224, 225 and 324 RPC registered with Police Station Ramsoo.
Police team led by incharge police post Ukhral SI Sohan Singh made the arrest under the supervision of SSP Ramban Randeep Kumar.
