JAMMU, Sept 15: A hardcore criminal-cum-absconder, who was evading his arrest from the past five years, has been arrested by Domana Police.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Police Station Domana led by SHO Inspector Mahesh Sharma under the supervision of SDPO Domana Kosheen Koul and SP Rural Sanjay Sharma conducted raid and apprehended hardcore criminal-cum-absconder, who was evading his arrest since 2016.
The accused was identified as Abdul Rashid, son of Qutab Din, a resident of Gole Gujaral District Jammu.
He was wanted in a case registered under FIR Number 19/2016 with Police Station Domana. Arrest warrant under Section 512 CrPC also stands issued against him by Court.
Further investigation into the case is goingon.
