POONCH, May 10: Police today arrested an absconder, who was evading his arrest for the last 10 years.
The absconder, namely Zaffar Iqbal, son of Shamas Din of Kumbli, Sailians, Tehsil Surankote in District Poonch, was involved in a case FIR number 25/2012, under section 447/427 RPC of PS Surankote.
He was evading his arrest from the last 10 years and warrant U/S 512 CrPC were issued against on 17/03/2015 by Sub Judge Surankote.
A police party of PP Behramgallla, headed by PSI Sushant Singh Samyal, arrested the absconder and after that he was produced before the Court of Sub Judge Surankote.
