JAMMU, Dec 6: Bagh-e-Bahu police arrested an absconder, who was at large since long.
As per police sources, on reliable information, a team from Bagh-e-Bahu Police Station conducted raid and apprehended an absconder, who was evading his arrest for the past seven years.
The accused has been identified as Abdul Majid, son of Imam Din, a resident of Sunjwan, Jammu.
He was involved in a case registered under FIR Number 39/10 with Police Station Bagh-e-Bahu Police Station. The court has also issued arrest warrant under Section 512 CrPC against him.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
Police team led by SHO Bagh-e-Bahu Inspector Satish Kumar made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO East Arun Jamwal and SP South Sandeep Choudhary.
