RAMBAN, Feb 10: Banihal police today arrested an absconder, who was evading his arrest since long.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from police station Banihal conducted raid at Simbal Camp, RS Pura Jammu and arrested an absconder, who was at large since 2005.
The accused has been identified as Kuldeep Singh, son of Ujager Singh of Simble Camp, Jammu.
He was involved in a case registered under FIR number 76/1999 under Section 279, 337 and 338 RPC with police station Banihal.
Police team led by SHO Banihal police station Inspector Nazir Ahmed Dar made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Banihal Mohammad Rafiq and SSP Ramban Randeep Kumar.
