JAMMU, May 25: Janipur police arrested an absconder who was evading his arrest since long.
As per police sources, police team from Janipur police station conducted a raid and arrested an absconder, who was at large since 2009.
The accused has been identified as Gulshan Kumar, son of Ashok Kumar of Janipur Colony.
He was involved in a case registered under FIR number 15/2009 under Section 379 RPC with police station Janipur.
The said absconder is a history sheeter and was already involved in various criminal cases registered with Janipur police station.
Police team led by SHO Janipur police station Inspector Ajit Singh made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO West Sandeep Choudhary, SP City Shiv Kumar Singh Chouhan and SSP Jammu Uttam Chand.
