JAMMU, Feb 12: Jammu and Kashmir Police in Bishnah town claimed to have arrested an absconder who was evading his arrest for the past two years.
A police spokesperson said that Masoom Ali son of Gulab Din of Karail Manhasan at present Laswara, Bishnah was wanted in case FIR number 86/2020 under sections 341, 323, 506, 147, and 201 of the IPC.
“He was evading his arrest for the past two years. Today, acting on specific inputs, he was arrested by police teams of Bishnah led by SDPO RS Pura and assisted by SHO Bishnah, Insepctor Vikram Sharma,” said the police spokesperson.
A warrant under section 512 CrPc was also issued against the accused by the Court of JMIC Bishnah, he said.
The absconder shall be produced before the court soon, he added.
