UDHAMPUR, Nov 11: Udhampur Police apprehended an absconder, who was evading arrest since 2018.
The accused, namely Vijay Kumar, son of Laju Ram of Ward number 16 Sial Sallan, Shakti Nagar, Udhampur, was absconding since 2018 in case FIR number 99/2016 U/S 109/498A/494 RPC of Police Station Chenani. An arrest warrant under section 512 Cr.PC was issued by Judicial Magistrate Ist Class Chenani against the accused on 11.01.2018.
Police team headed by Inspector Om Parkash, SHO PS Chenani, under the supervision of Addl SP Udhampur Anwaar Ul Haq raided the suspected locations and arrested the absconder.
