JAMMU, Sept 10: Former minister and senior NC leader Ajay Sadhotra has alleged that abrogation of Article 370 has led to further slow down the economy of the State.
In a press statement here today NC leader said that economy of our country has already slowed down and it has affected our state also as so many youth have lost jobs. And abrogation of Article 370 and 35-A, have led to further slowdown of state economy.
The National Conference leader said that after abrogation of Article 370 trade and industry has been badly hit, production has come down in the state and payments of traders and industrialists have been blocked and state economy has dipped low. With the restrictions and shut down of establishments and communications system/ internet, the State’s economy has worst hit.
Sadhotra said Jammu-Kashmir have integrated business relations. Jammu and Kashmir traders and industrialists have always strengthened the secular bond between people of Jammu and Kashmir. BJP Government should give financial package to the Trade and Industry of the state in order to save them.
Former minister said in the absence of Financial package, youth of Jammu and Kashmir will lose lobs and Trade and Industry will become sick. First local Industry should be strengthened and then think of Investors from outside, ignoring local trade and industry shall lead to further slowing down economy of the state and it will lead to economic crisis.
Sadhotra said Trade and Industry has always played vital role in restoring confidence among traders and Industry of both the regions Jammu Kashmir after 2018 land row also. Trade and Industry has also strengthened communal brotherhood and integration of the State. He said this is high time Government should come to the rescue of Trade and Industry of Jammu and Kashmir by giving Financial package.
