Abhinav slams Oppn for inciting youth for violence

JAMMU, June 19: Abhinav Sharma, spokesperson Jammu and Kashmir Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has slammed the opposition political parties and their leaders for provoking the people against the unique ‘Agnipath Scheme’ launched by the Union Government recently with the sole aim of inciting them to resort to violence, arson and rioting creating law and order problem across the nation.
In a statement issued to media here today, the senior BJP leader stated that army has never been a large-scale job provider in India. He said that now the Agnipath Scheme has been meticulously tailored by the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi led Government to transform the defence forces into a substantial job provider in this nation. He lauded the Prime Minister not only for launching this remarkable scheme but also for enhancing the age limit of candidates for recruitment under the Agnipath Scheme from 21 years to 23 years and for the approval to 10 per cent reservation for the wards of armed forces.
Expressing strong resentment over the violent protests across the nation by some disgruntled elements at the behest of opposition parties, Abhinav Sharma said that those opposing this scheme must understand and realize that this scheme is going to benefit a large number of unemployed youth who are in search of jobs. He said that Agnipath is a multipronged scheme aimed at primarily benefiting the youth, the defence forces and ultimately the nation at large.
