JAMMU, July 15: Bhartiya Vikas Sansthan (BVS), Mumbai has awarded ‘COVID-19 Warrior Award’ to eminent Santoor maestro & music composer, Abhay Rustum Sopori with a Certificate of Appreciation announced by Dr. Yogesh Dubey, President BVS.
Dr. Dubey in his address acknowledged maestro Sopori’s efforts since the outbreak of the pandemic in India and thanked him for his support and role in reaching out to people making them aware about Do’s and Don’ts, and spreading positive vibes through his appeal messages and music.
Abhay thanked BVS and Dr. Dubey and expressed his gratitude.
He said, “Times like these make a person release his important role in society. Every person needs to contribute in whatever way possible. We need to be vigilant and follow the guidelines as advised by the administration and also help those you need understanding of these measures as carelessness can be fatal wasting all efforts done by those on ground working for us day and night”.
