SRINAGAR, Dec 9: Police today said that it have recovered an abducted minor girl from State of Maharashtra.
A police spokesman said that on December 2, a person (name with held) lodged a complaint in police station DH Pora in Kulgam that his minor daughter (name with held) is missing from his residence. Accordingly a missing report was lodged and investigation was started.
During the course of investigation, it came to fore that the girl has been kidnapped by one Roshan, a resident of Jharkhand, who took her to Pune in Maharashtra. A case was registered and investigation was taken up.
The spokesman said that accordingly, a police team was deputed to the location for tracing out the missing girl. “After strenuous efforts, the minor girl was recovered from Pune along with the accused,” he added.
