RAJOURI, Sept 29: Kandi police recovered abducted married woman from Katra area of district Reasi and arrested the kidnapper.
As per police sources, a married woman aged around 22 years hailing from village Chambi Trar was kidnapped by Mohammad Mahroof, son of Mohammad Idress, a resident of Madoon Darhal around three days back.
Family members of the woman lodged complaint with Police Station Kandi in this regard.
Acting on the complaint, a case under FIR number 71/14 under Section 366 and 109 RPC was registered at Police Station Kandi and investigation started.
On specific inputs, police team from Kandi Police Station conducted a raid in Katra area of district Reasi and recovered the girl. The accused abductor has also been arrested.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
