JAMMU, July 31: Aam Aadmi Party today volunteered to help in investigation of the biggest recruitment scam in Fire and Emergency Services, which was exposed by the party three days ago.
The party has also established contact with the office of Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor seeking appointment for meeting with LG and sharing evidence of this scam and also to volunteer for help in fair investigation.
In an official statement, Aam Aadmi Party informed that three days ago the party exposed the sensational scam that has taken place in recruitment in Jammu and Kashmir Fire and Emergency Services which is unique in itself as time and again irregularities on large scale have been committed in a single recruitment process.
However, even after three days of exposing this sensational stem, the Jammu and Kashmir Government has not established any contact to get evidence of the scam and it seems least bothered towards this issue affecting life of thousands of aspirants and that has left everyone stunned.
After no concern was expressed by the Jammu and Kashmir Government, the Aam Aadmi Party on Sunday itself volunteered to extend cooperation in investigation of the scam and to share evidence with the Jammu and Kashmir LG office.
The AAP has also established an official communication with the office of Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor seeking appointment for the meeting.
AAP has further expressed concern over threats being received by some aspirants of the recruitment who acted as whistleblowers and demanded their security and safety besides investigation and action against those involved in issuing these threats.
