AAP to hold rally in Amethi on Jan 12

LUCKNOW, Jan 4: After forming the Government at Delhi, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is preparing itself to establish its base in Uttar Pradesh in view of the Lok Sabha elections.
The AAP will hold its first rally at Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi’s parliamentary constituency, Amethi on January 12, party sources confirmed.
The Arvind Kejriwal-led AAP is expected to announce the name of Kumar Vishwas as the party candidate from Amethi.
The rally, named as ‘Jan Vishwas rally’, is expected to witness a gathering of 50,000 people.
Earlier, the AAP had carried out ‘Jhadu Sandesh Yatra’ in Amethi on December 27.
