A Tribute to our Daddy

“Great events make me quiet and calm, it is only trifles that irritate my nerves’’.
Time flies but memories never fade away. Memories leave a footprint in the life that remain hidden inside the soul. It’s hard to believe that a person “Our Daddy’’ with benevolent nature is no longer with us, but his presence is still felt around us.
“A man’s rootage is more important than leafage’’, very well articulates that our Daddy was a person with inborn talents and phenomenal qualities. He was ever ready to work in any field and never felt that any work is small. Till the last breath his strong will power made him fight against deadly disease and never spoke about his pain to anybody. We still remember his words saying “Don’t worry, I am fine and I’ll recover soon.’’
“Each human is uniquely different. Like snowflakes, the human pattern is never cast twice’’. Even being an eminent personality he pursued cooking as a hobby. His cooking skills were on top notch. He was always preoccupied with us and indeed was a true guiding spirit. In his lifetime, he wanted to achieve heights and definitely he proved himself right by working in various professions beginning from a teacher, and finally as Assistant Labour Commissioner.
As it is said “Your children need your presence more than your presents’’, Daddy you were the one whom we had given the first priority next to our parents. Whenever it was the time to depart for our hostels we couldn’t resist meeting you and it was the hard time for us to say ‘Goodbye Daddy’.
We still remember those summer days and your morning lines “Suraj Sar Par Hai Aur Budhu Bache So Rahe Hai’’. Hearing this, we all used to giggle facing each other.
Daddy, your remarkable statement still works and boosts us. “If you have no confidence in self you are twice defeated in the race of life. With confidence, you have won even before you have started.’’
Your place is still vacant in our hearts which nobody can fill.
“A person with a heart to criticize and a heart to help everyone”.
“Flowers….seem to smile, some have a sad expression, some are pensive…. others again are plain, honest and upright’’.
During your past days with us it was heart breaking to see you in a condition which we hadn’t imagined ever.
Miss U our Daddy, our Nanu Wish U could come back. We need you
