Ch Manmohan demands ex-gratia to victims family

JAMMU, July 12: Ch Manmohan, President of All India Jat Mahasabha (AIJMS) J&K, along with a delegation comprising of many Sarpanchs and Youth leaders of AIJMS Nowshera had a meeting with Chief Engineer PDD Gurmeet Singh for immediate release of ex-gratia to family of deceased, who died due to negligence of PDD at Nowshera.
Also demanding Government job to next of kin of the deceased, Choudhary requested the Chief Engineer to direct the concerned authorities to install additional electric poles where the distance between two poles is more than 75 ft besides removing the transmission wire from the trees to ensure that in future such a tragedy may not happen again in any Panchayat halqa of Nowshera.
The CE listened to the delegation very patiently and directed the XEN Rajouri to immediately send the file of ex gratia, completing all the formalities and he further gave directions to inspect and formulate a report based on the ground reality of the area with a proposal so that action may be taken soon after the approval from the concerning authorities without wasting much time on it.
Later Choudhary also visited GMC hospital with the delegation to enquire about the health of Ch Mohinder Kumar who is struggling for his life with 60 percent burn injuries and was hospitalised since the day of incident when transmission wire fell on his house resulting into death of his wife. Choudhary assured all possible help to Mohinder wanted to be shifted him outside J&K for advanced treatment. He said that his team of AIJMS Nowshera was also trying their best to get two sons of Mohinder Kumar, admitted in the day boarding school in Rajouri with the help of local administration.
The delegation also called on Director Sheep Husbandry, Dr Sanjeev Kumar in his office chamber and discussed the problem faced by people living in far flung areas of Nowshera because of non availability of Vet Doctors, other staff and the Ambulance in the remote areas. Director issued order to the concerned officer of Rajouri for an Ambulance in Nowshera and ordered that the doctors and other staff should be present in the Panchayat Ganya twice a week without any delay or excuse.
Those accompanying Ch Manmohan included Ch Sukhdev Singh Sarpanch, Ch Ashok Kumar Sarpanch, Surjeet Choudhary Sarpanch, Ajay Choudhary- Youth president, Bindu Choudhary -Gen Secy and Sonu Choudhary -Cashier, AIJMS Nowshera.
